This policy explains what personal data QR Code Generator (“we”) processes when you use generate-qr.cc.

What we collect

• Account data: email address and a hashed password.
• Content: the content and designs of QR codes you save, link pages and files you upload.
• Scan data: when someone scans a dynamic QR code we record the time, approximate country and city (derived from the IP address), device type, operating system and browser. We do not store IP addresses; we keep only a daily salted hash to count unique visitors.
• Billing data: processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. We receive your customer ID and subscription status, not your card details.

Static codes

QR codes created without an account are generated in your browser. Their content is not sent to our servers.

Why we process it

To provide the Service (contract), to show you scan statistics, to prevent abuse (legitimate interest) and to meet legal obligations.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: one to keep you logged in, one to remember your language, and one to remember unlocked password-protected codes.

Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your QR codes or ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion or export of your data, and object to processing, by emailing support@generate-qr.cc. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
